Box Mode is the planned WorldBox-inspired mode for Q1 2027 Major Update 1, not planned for the Early Access launch. The main mode requires you to build and design the world yourself; players seeking automatic world development should wait for that later mode.

Should you wait?
If automatic world development is your main reason to play, our recommendation is to wait for Box Mode and check a release announcement before buying for that feature. This follows the developer’s explicit advice to revisit later. Q1 2027 is a roadmap window, not a confirmed exact delivery date.
How mobile fits the plan
The developer says mobile-port plans exist but have lower priority until Major Update 1 is released, because a mobile port would fit best with the first Box Mode version. That does not establish a mobile launch date or an available mobile build.
