Government & Succession
Noble Houses
Noble Houses emerge dynamically in Demo Patch 7. Faction Leaders and Zone Leaders can found a house or continue an inherited line, and their descendants inherit that lineage. Each house has members, a House Head, a family seat, prestige, and influence.

What a Noble House contains
| Field | Role |
|---|---|
| Members and lineage | Children and descendants inherit their noble family line. |
| House Head | The house’s current head contributes to its standing through their power. |
| Family seat | Each house has its own family seat. |
| Prestige and influence | Standing develops with living members, held titles, and the current House Head’s power. |
How a dynasty changes
A house can rise in prestige or eventually become extinct as the simulation continues. Political marriages can connect different Noble Houses within the same faction, while close relatives are excluded.
Titles and displaced houses
Faction rulers and Zone Leaders hold titles with designated heirs and recorded succession histories. Former rulers and displaced houses can retain temporary claims to lost titles, influencing future successions. The separate Succession reference explains which titles are hereditary and the published heir groups.
Existing worlds and inspection
Existing worlds are supported: houses and succession lines establish themselves as the simulation continues. The patch gives no fixed waiting time. Faction, Zone, and Character Inspectors are the published places to follow houses, rulers, heirs, marriages, titles, and claims.
