Military Strength
Military Strength
Faction military strength comes from actual living Soldiers and Heroes. Demo Patch 7 names seven contributions: health, damage, attack speed, accuracy, critical chance, protection, and Power Score. Injured characters contribute less, and powerful Heroes also improve army morale.

What contributes to strength
The notes identify the combatants and contributing attributes, but do not publish a weighted calculation.
| Part of the system | What it means |
|---|---|
| Who counts | Actual living Soldiers and Heroes, each contributing their own attributes. |
| Seven named factors | Health, damage, attack speed, accuracy, critical chance, protection, and Power Score. |
| Injuries | Injured characters provide less military strength. |
| Heroes | Powerful Heroes are real army members and improve army morale. |
Injuries and Heroes
An army’s living combatants matter, rather than a nominal troop count alone. Injured characters provide less strength. Powerful Heroes fight as actual army members and improve army morale; losing a Hero has a particularly large effect on War Score and War Exhaustion.
Strength does not decide the campaign alone
Casualties, controlled objectives, sustained pressure, food shortages, morale, and War Exhaustion all influence campaigns. Extra fronts can open when a faction has enough troops. The published notes do not provide weights or a formula that turns these factors into a guaranteed result.
Where to follow a campaign
The Faction Inspector and World Event Log report military strength, army groups, morale, active fronts, casualties, War Score, War Exhaustion, and peace settlements. Read those campaign conditions alongside the chosen War Goal, especially when raw strength seems insufficient to explain an outcome.
